Diego has seen his recruiting take off recently picking up both a Morgan State and Albany offer in the last week. He’s had an impactful season for the undefeated QO Cougars, and a player I got to see live in game the other month.

He’s developed his frame well and improved his athleticism and explosiveness over the last year. He can play either side of the ball at TE or DE and I can see him getting recruited at either depending on fit/scheme. At TE he is an inline TE who is sure handed and can work the middle of the field/seam as well as being a reliable red zone option. At DE, he has nice get off & a quick first step. Able to slip blockers and get skinny to shoot into the backfield for TFLs. Diego plays with high motor and competitiveness at either spot. I expect plenty more FCS schools to come calling for Diego’s commitment as the season continues.
