Johnson, routinely, lights ball carriers up as he puts his full body into everything he does on the football field. Technique-wise, he drives his feet consistently and with power, while wrapping extremely well. Although he does not yet use his hands to disengage with oncoming blockers, Johnson prefers to blow them up in the hole using his body as a weapon. Watching film I thought that he was used almost exclusively as a spy – which makes sense when you consider his plus-plus sideline-to-sideline speed. Relatedly, Johnson gets to full speed super quickly.
