It’s not very often that you see an Oklahoma prospect sign with New Hampshire but that’s the case here. Sulphur standout

would sign with New Hampshire after believing in the relationships he built with the coaches there. Patterson is one of the fastest prospects in this class and he was one of he earliest prospects on our radar with this group. And during his freshman year, we thought Patterson was going to be more of a cornerback at the next level. But a few years later, he’s made the move to wide receiver and he’s using that legit track speed to make plays on offense.

is hands down one of the more intriguing prospects in the state’s 2024 class. First off, we thought Patterson was going to end up on the defensive side of the ball as a prospect. When we saw him as a freshman, he was a standout cornerback. He began his varsity career at Elmore City and then moved to Ada before settling in Sulphur for his final high school season. And Patterson became more of a prospect on the offensive side of the ball during those transitions. We still think he’s one of the better corners in 1 on 1 situations but his future is at wide receiver. And that’s where you get a chance to see his speed and playmaking ability. Earlier this season, Patterson announced his commitment and even that was intriguing. He committed to New Hampshire and we have to point out that we don’t see that very often.

committed to New Hampshire on Sunday evening. Patterson is one of the fastest prospects in the state’s 2024 class and he has legit track speed on the football field. Patterson was first on our radar for what he was able to do on the defensive side of the ball at cornerback. But over the last year or so, he’s become more of a playmaker on the offensive side at wide receiver. #5 Sulphur will play host to #9 Pauls Valley in a massive district contest on Friday night. Patterson will play a big role on Friday night. The speedster gives the Bulldogs a big home run threat that they could certainly use on Friday night. Pauls Valley has their back against the wall after an 0-2 start in district play so Friday’s game has major playoff implications.

has had anything but a traditional high school career. After emerging as a potential star defensive back as a freshman and sophomore with Elmore City, Patterson spent last season with Ada before moving again to Sulphur this past spring. We mentioned that speed on the outside and Patterson will provide that for the Bulldogs this fall. While he might have gotten his start a few years ago as a lockdown cornerback, he is getting recruited by power five college programs as a wide receiver. We still think he’s one of the better defensive backs in the class but his future might be brighter on the offensive side of the ball. Patterson is going to give the Bulldogs an offensive weapon that they haven’t had in a long time.

who is now listed as a wide receiver. For the first three years of his varsity career, we had Patterson listed as a defensive back and at the cornerback position to be specific. He was a lockdown guy that really impressed since his freshman year. Not only has he moved positions but he’s moved schools after going from Ada to Sulphur this offseason. We really like what Sulphur brings back and having an electric playmaker like Patterson on the outside at wide receiver will give them a new weapon within their offense. Patterson has been recruited by power five programs across the country and has definitely seen the benefit of working with C4 as he’s performed incredibly well at various 7v7 tournaments across the country. With legitimate track speed, Patterson is a dynamic player at wide receiver.

has always been one of the more athletic prospects in the class and this might actually be the last time that Patterson is featured with the defensive backs in the 2024 class. While that was the first spot we watched him excel on the football field, Patterson has become a legitimate Power Five prospect and most of the attention he is getting is actually on the offensive side of the ball. We mentioned Patterson was a track standout and he’s put up some absolutely absurd numbers there so we don’t doubt he can be a next level star when he has the ball in his hands.

has been on our radar since the offseason between his freshman and sophomore seasons. Patterson was a small school star for Elmore City in Class A over the last two seasons. However, this offseason, he moved to Ada and the tradition-rich Cougars are once again contenders in Class 4A. They also find themselves in one of the toughest districts in the class. But for Patterson, it’s all about his play as a lockdown corner. Colleges are already starting to take notice as he already has a few offers in his pocket. He should get even more now that his junior film starts making the rounds. The combination of legitimate track speed, along with skills at the cornerback position make Patterson a top name in the class.
