The Bulldogs have a pretty special senior class this season but 2028 athlete Carter Cole Carter Cole 6'2" | 195 lbs | ATH Sulphur | 2028 State OK is one of the underclassmen to keep an eye on this season. You could start seeing flashes that he was going to be a big time player during his sophomore season. He would do a little bit of everything on offense and defense for the Bulldogs. His season was cut short in the semifinals and there’s no doubt that he’s hungry to get back on the field after not being able to play in the state championship game. Cole finished last year with over 1,000 all purpose yards between running, receiving and return yardage. There is no doubt that he’s going to have an elevated role this season.

Sulphur 2028 athlete Carter Cole Carter Cole 6'2" | 195 lbs | ATH Sulphur | 2028 State OK is a hidden gem in the state’s 2028 class but we don’t think that is going to last much longer. The Bulldogs need some new playmakers to emerge on the offensive side of the ball and we’re looking at Cole being one of those playmakers. Cole will also be a major piece to what the Bulldogs do on the defensive side of the ball. And when we look at Cole going into this season, we wouldn’t be surprised if he has a major chip on his shoulder. He got hurt late in the year last season and wasn’t able to play in the state championship game as the Bulldogs had to finish as 3A Runner Ups for a second year in a row. Cole (and the rest of the Bulldogs) will be hungry for gold when the 2026 season kicks off.
