is on the shortlist of players we’re fired up to watch this season. Last year, Gray finished with over 1,300 yards and 12 touchdowns on 153 carries. And he split carries for the Bulldogs. This season, he’s stepping into a new role where he will be the featured back in this offense and Sulphur is not going to be shy about putting the ball in his hands. He’s proven over the last several years that he can produce at a very high level. But because he was splitting carries, he might have flown under the radar across the state. Not with us and we’re fired up to see him step into the spotlight. He has the potential to have a dominant senior season in 2026.

has shown flashes of being an outstanding running back in the Bulldog rushing attack. But he hasn’t had to be the marquee back as they’ve had one of the best players in the state in their backfield in the last few years. Now, we get to see what Gray looks like when he’s the go-to weapon in the Sulphur offense and the workload is sure to go up. He’s a very fun running back to watch and he’s made plenty of plays over the last two seasons. But because of who Sulphur has had in this offense, he might be flying under the radar for some as we go into the 2026 season. He won’t be flying under that radar for very long.

and now he enters his junior season this fall. Last year, Gray ran for nearly 500 yards and eight touchdowns on just 41 carries. While he might not be the marquee running back in the offense this year, we do anticipate his production getting a spike this season. He’s absolutely electric and he’s that player that can break the long runs. As evidenced last season by the fact that he averaged more than 10 yards per carry and scored roughly once every five times he touched the football. Gray could have that breakout season this fall.
