Dakari Talbert Dakari Talbert 5'9" | 170 lbs | RB Frederick Douglass | 2027 State KY is a player who has been high on our radar since his freshman year. He had another strong season as a sophomore, leading his team in rushing with 107 carries for 847 yards and 11 touchdowns in 14 games. Talbert has the vision and patience to find the running lane then uses his speed to hit it with a sense of urgency and run away from the defense for big gains. He has also proven to be very shifty once he hits the open field, hitting quick cuts to make defenders miss. Talber also showed the ability to line up in the slot and pose as a threat in the passing game as a sophomore, catching nine passes for 145 yards and a touchdown. Dakari currently holds offers from Marshall, UT Martin, Southern Mississippi, and Eastern Kentucky, and I expect more to come his way going into his junior year.
