. After losing a few key parts of the front seven from last year’s state championship team, we expected Crissup to step into a new role as the leader of the Jenks defense. They’ve had a few players that have stood out in big ways, despite having to deal with injuries to key positions. When the Trojans were decimated with injuries in the first half of the season, Crissup was the one constant on the defensive side of the ball. He was one of the leading tacklers on last year’s team and he’s in that same position this season. Crissup adds even more depth to the already stacked 2023 linebacker class.
