Scifres is an exciting interior lineman who is gritty and violent. He’s not afraid to clean up the mess in the middle and stick his nose in there. He’ll fight through the whistle and be ready to go for the next down. If there’s any OL in the class that might be overlooked, it’s Scifres. Not only does he play at the highest level in Indiana, but he does it at a very high level. The Center Grove offense is always humming, and in part due to guys like Scifres clearing lanes. The 3-star recruit is currently sitting on offers from Indiana, Toledo, Duke, and Iowa.

Excellent size for his spot at guard, strong run blocker who runs his feet on contact. Good first step quickness with good hand placement and strike timing. Can sustain blocks in pass pro, slide his feet and protect the pocket. Works well with the OC to double nose tackles and scoop blocks in the run game.

Scifres starts at left guard and he’s one of the better offensive line prospects at Center Grove in recent seasons. Big and strong, he uses his 6-foot-6, 330-pound frame to bulldoze defenders in the run game. He is an effective puller and is also strong in pass protection, displaying good hand placement and strike timing.

Helping anchor the line upfront for Center Grove is Scifries, who is as reliable as they come. Down in and down out, you know what you’re getting from Scifres. He won’t try to do too much and stick with his job. He has the natural strength to bully defenders off the line and clear the way in the running game, but he’s also just as good in the passing game. He sets his feet, stays off his heels, and has no issue tracking blitzers through traffic. He’s got plenty of reps, the size, and the knowledge to play ball at a high level for years to come.
