McClurg is a great receiver prospect and talented after-the-catch. His RAC is remarkable. He has very good vision in space and can make defenders miss with his burst, change-of-direction and top-end juice. McClurg, a rising junior, had 67 catches for 1,004 yards and six touchdowns last season.

McClurg is a rising name for Center Grove which began to pop this year. He’s a 3-sport Varsity athlete for Center Grove, so he’s fairly well-rounded. He’s nimble, not stiff, and has good speed. I like him in the slot for now, but do think he could develop on the outside. He rushed the ball, caught the ball, and returned kicks for CG this year and amassed just over 700 yards and 3 TDs, but this is just the beginning for McClurg.

McClurg is having a strong sophomore season, leading the Trojans in receiving yards, which should land him on college radars in the near future. The 5-foot-11 McClurg is a speedy receiver who could make a lot of money in the slot. He has great breakaway speed and agility after the catch, and can make defenders miss in space.

McClurg is a phenomenal multi-sport athlete who seems to be the kind of guy who has success on any field he steps on. As good of a football player as he is, he’s just as good at baseball. However, on the gridiron, he’s a good receiver because he’s smart. He’s shifty and can make catches in traffic. I love that anytime he touches the ball he’s going to do everything he can to get the most out of that rep without putting the ball in danger. With 507 yards and 3 TDs on the year, he’s currently 3rd in 6A in receiving and is just showcasing the tip of the iceberg.

McClurg is a young upcoming multi-sport athlete who is just as good at football as he is the other sports. He’s got a nasty swing on the baseball field, but Friday night he went nuclear on the football field. Center Grove took on Kentucky’s #1 ranked 6A program and stole an upset win in part because of the performance by McClurg. He set a school record with 238 yards and 11 receptions while scoring 2 TDs. His hand-eye coordination, his body control, and awareness on the field are elite.
