is another uber-talented defensive lineman for Center Grove, and recently earned offers from Purdue and Miami-Ohio. The Boilermakers were the second Power 4 team to pull the trigger on Sloan, who will undoubtedly shine as a strong pass rusher, stout run defender and great block shedder for the Trojans’ defensive front in the years to come.

– has the makings of a top defensive end over the next three years. Sloan comes off the LOS with a great first step and low pad level. He takes great angles to the ball against the run and is a proven tackler. At 6-foot-4, 220 pounds, he already has a great frame with plenty of room to grow.

Sloan is someone we highlighted earlier in the year because he had a fast start, but we’re back because he hasn’t slowed down and has had an incredible year. He’s been incredibly productive since Week 1 and has only gotten better. He’s giving Center Grove a young nucleus to build around for the next few years. He’s violent, smart, plays like his hair is on fire, and has all the physical traits you want in someone up front. His 39 tackles, 8 TFLs, 6 sacks, and 6 TFLs all lead the Indiana freshman class.

Sloan has all the tools you are looking for in a guy to come off the edge and rush the passer. He’s long, strong, has long arms, and a quick get off. He’s fairly agile for his size as well. His 13 tackles and 4 TFLs off the edge are just the start in what should be a productive career.

Sloan had a good start to his career and showed right away that he belongs on the field. He’s got a good build with length, and his core strength is already impressive for a young player. He’s quick enough off the line to work around the edge, which is no easy task at Center Grove, especially as a freshman. He put up 7 tackles, 1 TFL, and clogged lanes consistently. It’s a strong first step, and it feels like there’s plenty more to come as he settles in.
