For a number of reasons, so many Indiana high school quarterbacks have struggled to pan out once they’ve reached the college level. Could Center Grove quarterback

be different? The 6-foot-4, 195-pound Trojan has the chance with his quick release, strong arm and immense upside, already holding 11 Division I offers. Center Grove does not have spring practice, but he is someone I’m planning to see either over the summer or at a throwing session with Anthony Morelli.

Sloan is one of the best QBs in the nation for the class. He’s smart, balanced, and has incredible touch down the field. He’s patient in the pocket and does not panic when things break down. It’s easy to see why he’s on every team’s radar. With offers from schools like IU, Alabama, Michigan, and countless others, his future is wide open.

has the makings of being Indiana’s top Class of 2028 quarterback. The 6-foot-4, 195-pound passer has the frame to grow, and he has a cannon for an arm. Sloan has a quick release, throws an on-time and accurate deep ball, and has velocity between the hashes, hitting receivers in stride. He is now up to 10 Division I offers with more likely to come.

also picked up an offer from Minnesota. Sloan is big, tall and very strong, with a 6-foot-4, 195-pound frame whose stock will only go up. Grove has a quick trigger, very good deep-ball accuracy and throws with great velocity between the hashes. He is now up to 10 offers.

Sloan is poised and has been in full control of the offense since week 1. He’s accurate and hits his guys in stride. He knows where the ball is supposed to go at all times. Through 5 weeks, he’s completing 73% of his throws for 708 yards and 6 TDs. He does a good job spreading the ball out and throws an easy catchable pass. Sloan checks a lot of boxes and continues to improve with each rep.

Sloan has proved his strong summer camp showings were no fluke, leading the Trojans to a 4-0 record and an offense that has put up at least 35 points on the board in each of the past three games. With a quick trigger and smooth delivery, Sloan looks very accurate throwing the deep ball with great timing and touch. Just a sophomore, his potential is through the roof.

Anthony Morelli-trained quarterback for the Trojans who looks matured beyond his years. Good height, still developing, needs to add bulk but has plenty of time. Has a quick, tight release with good back-step load and weight transition. Solid deep-ball accuracy with good timing and anticipation. Very accurate. Confident, poised, positive attitude. Still developing but has a lot of upside and potential.

Sloan makes many things look easy on the field and continues to improve week to week. In the back of my mind, I still think 2028 is super young, but they’re quickly growing up physically. Sloan looks good and spends time in the weight room. He’s accurate at all levels of the field and doesn’t overthink while he’s out there. He left as the 2028 MVP for good reason, as he led with consistency.

Sloan will officially be making the move to play for IMG this fall. He told me he’s transferred and will be there for his high school career. He should do well as he’s got all the traits to be a successful starter at the next level. He’s lengthy, has a good arm, sees the field well, doesn’t panic, is a sound athlete, and can throw guys open. Getting to see him get some work in person helped show me why schools are already interested. He’s got a live arm and all the traits I’ve mentioned, so it’s natural that schools are poking their heads around early.
