Corey Bailey | Prep Redzone Scout
The All-County senior led the MIAA in rushing with 753 yards and 9 touchdowns. A majority of his yardage came between the tackles, where his physical running style stood out. Though he was rarely targeted in the passing game, Gorman made the most of his opportunities, finishing with 2 receptions: one for 10 yards and another for 23 yards and a touchdown. He showcases impressive burst when breaking into the open field, using his acceleration to rip off big plays. With the ball in his hands, Gorman runs with power, consistently bulldozing through defenders in one-on-one situations. As his recruitment process continues, he remains in search of a collegiate destination, recently visiting the University of New Haven. We’ll be keeping a close eye on his recruitment as the offseason unfolds

Gorman was limited to only 33 carries on the season but averaged 4 yards per carry. His frame and running style allow him to plow through arm tackles and run over smaller defenders. Alot of his carriers were between the tackles last season and it looks as if that may be his bread and butter. Gorman was the second leading rusher on the team behind a senior who recorded 191 carries on the season, as that workload shifts to Gorman expect him to build some momentum through the season and put his full skillset on display.
