Nomue makes his rankings debut after an impressive spring and summer season. Coming in just outside the top 50 and the #7 overall edge prospect. With ideal size and length at 6’5″, he just needs to continue to fill out that frame. Nomue is a player that passes the eye ball test. Able to play DE in an odd front or slide inside at a pass rushing DT, he offers tons of positional versatility and can create nice mis-matches. He plays with a high motor, chases down the ball and fights through contact. Nomue shows active hands and ability to the bend the edge and dip under OTs arms to flatten down the line to the ball.

His recruiting is starting to pop, after picking up offers from UCLA and Nebraska. Nomue showed good promise last season as a sophomore but is primed to break out this fall for his junior campaign. He has a ton of upside and potential and can easily be a high riser in the next rankings if he plays up to his abilities.

Nomue is a player I can’t wait to see more of this upcoming fall and I can see him having a huge breakout junior season. Possessing excellent length and a frame to go along with it, he passes the eye ball test. Able to play DE in an odd front or slide inside at a pass rushing DT, Nomue offers lots of versatility in todays game. Plays with a high motor, chases down the ball and fights through contact. Nomue shoes active hands and ability to the bend the edge and dip under OTs arms to flatten down the line to the ball.

There is a great skill set there that should blossom as Nomue gets more reps and fills out with more bulk to strengthen up. Look for him to be a name that starts to pop up and make a strong debut in the next 28 rankings.
