Expert Analysis

I counted several tackles for Snell against MSJ. On one play, he chased the quarterback out of bounds. What was impressive was that he slapped down on the quarterbacks arm and stripped him of the football before tackling him. Snell made a lot of plays in the box and was a main reason hardly any run plays made it past the second level. I thought he did a great job of identifying the run fast and filling the lanes. He’s a sure tackler and drives through contact. There’s a spot for a player like him at the next level.

is a physical, hard-hitting defensive back who thrives in run support. Whether lined up at cornerback, in the nickel, or coming off the edge on a blitz, Snell plays with the mentality and aggressiveness of a linebacker, making him one of the more versatile defenders in his class.
His ability to fill multiple roles on defense makes him a valuable asset in modern schemes, where hybrid players who can cover, tackle, and pressure the quarterback are in high demand.
Snell recently received an offer from the University of New Haven, adding to a growing list that includes Rhode Island and Merrimack College. With his versatility and physical style of play, expect more programs to take notice as he continues to develop.
