Once he sheds the block, he uses his speed to get to the ball carrier in a hurry and is a very reliable tackler in the open field. He is also a reliable pass rusher, showing the ability to use his strength and explosiveness to his advantage to drive straight through opposing offensive tackles on his way to the quarterback. As a pass rusher, he explodes out of his stance and uses his strength to bull rush straight through blocks on his way to the quarterback. Chase currently holds offers from Kentucky, Eastern Kentucky, and Austin Peay, and I expect more offers to come for him as he is a Division I caliber talent.

He is an athletic defensive end that has some impressive pass rush moves off the edge and is able to use his speed and quickness to beat opposing offensive tackles. Couch also has an explosive first step off the ball. He uses this to gain an early advantage and shoot into the backfield before his blocker can stop him. Once he gets to the ball carrier, he does a great job of running his feet on contact to finish the tackle. Chase currently holds an offer from Eastern Kentucky and I believe more will come as he has received a nice amount of college interest and has the potential to grow into an even better defensive end.
