Expert Analysis
Brian Phillips | Prep Redzone Scout
Charles is one of the top TE prospects in New England. Standing at 6’3.5” and weighing 237 pounds, Charles is a mismatch for opposing defenders to cover. Charles has an elite combination of size and athleticism. He can line up on the LOS or in the slot. He should be a major part of Head Coach Chris Setian’s offense this fall. Don’t forget about Charles ability on the defensive side off the ball. At DE, Charles is a problem to block and can create havoc. Kaludis has committed to continue his football career at Richmond.

Charles Kaludis had many coaches’ attention during the show day. He displayed athletic, fluid movement during drills. He has the rare combination of size and speed that can change the LOS at the point of attack. His soft hands were on full display. He is a C/O 2025 Tight End who attends Suffield Academy in Connecticut. On May 13, 2024, after the event, he announced an offer from Ivy League Dartmouth.

Charles Kaludis
Season Film Observations: A pleasure to view his film. He can find the open window in zone and separate from man coverages. Shows the ability to break tackles and gain yards after contact. A few clips have him dragging defenders downfield after the catch. He can stretch the field vertically. Blocks well in open space and can block moving targets. He explodes through his hips on contact when blocking. He can and will go up and get it. Makes caatches outside of his body frame. Very good high-point ability.
He shows the ability to flex out and create mismatches as a WR. He can be effective as a WR in the red zone, has experience playing DE/LB, and shows explosive tendencies. His physical measurables align with Div-1 FBS group of 5 or High FCS Tight-ends.

Suffield Academy | 6’3 225lbs | TE/DE | 3.8 GPA | ‘25 | Highlights link in bio | Email: 25ck@suffieldacademy.org Film Review Notes: His toughness combined with effort and motor is what easily caught my attention. “Kaludis” is a solid athlete who can do many things and do them well. On offense at the Hback position, his superior blocking skills shine early in his film. He delivers violent blocks to get the defender off his feet/balance and to the ground. His ability to pluck the ball from the air in traffic at midfield and use his strong lower body to pull defenders upfield for additional Yac are traits that will impress at the next level. A short glimpse of his quickness on the edge while on defense and his relentless motor gives him versatility that will open many doors for him going forward. His measurables align with a FBS group of 5 or high FCS Tight-end/Defensive end potential.

Sophomore tape is what placed him at his current rank. Has cut-ups against WyoSem, Deerfield, and Phillips Exeter on tape to update coaches on what he’s been up to this Fall so far, I’ll do my best to recap here. Should have multiple offers by now, especially with the tape he’s putting out this Fall. Speaking on alignment, Suffield Academy can explore and find success stationing Kaludis at EDGE, TE (backfield, in-line, traditional), SWR too. Can be asked to catch balls in the middle of the field, is a drag, stick, hitch eater in the short game. One of the best blocking TEs this class has to offer, a true sixth lineman with great athleticism, so blocking in space is a role he fills. Most reps come on offense, yet he sprinkles in awesome work deployed as an EDGE defender. Sacks, TFLs, huge hits to QBs, this is a special player waiting for his opportunity in the recruiting world, get on him quick.
