Strengths: Size, ball skills, contested catch ability, vertical threat, body control
Jack McDonald Jack McDonald 5'10" | 205 lbs | OL Braintree | 2028 New E , a post-graduate transfer from Madison West High School to Suffield Academy for the fall of 2026, brings intriguing size and upside to the wide receiver position at 6’3”, 200 pounds. McDonald has already drawn attention with an offer from UW Whitewater. On film, he projects as a true outside receiver with the frame and physicality to line up at the X or Y. He thrives in contested catch situations, consistently winning jump balls and high-pointing the football with strong body control. His ability to track the ball downfield and finish through contact makes him a reliable vertical threat and an ideal fit in a spread offense.
McDonald’s combination of length and ball skills allows him to create mismatches against smaller defensive backs, and he shows the ability to stretch the field and make plays in traffic. While his playmaking ability is evident, there is limited film displaying a full route tree. Continued development in route running—particularly sharp breaks and separation at the intermediate level—will be key to elevating his game. Refining these areas will help him transition from a contested-catch specialist into a more complete and polished receiver at the next level.

Stats: 5 Receptions, 59 Yards
The 6’3″ 200 lbs senior put on a show with his 5 receptions. The best coming on the opening drive for West when he ripped the top off the defense, and made a great catch at the high point. Jack has a strong frame that can win those body positioning battles for the catch. He separates himself from other receivers by having the athleticism to beat defenses on top of his size. Equally as impressive is how fluid Jack is when hit comes to quick movements. So much so that the senior also played some cornerback for West. This is one of the best uncommitted WRs in WI for the Class of 2026 according to the rankings and Jack played like it.

Teams looking for a big-bodied WR/TE hybrid target need to check out Jack McDonald Jack McDonald 6'3" | 200 lbs | WR Suffield Academy | 2027 State New E . The 6’2″ 200 lbs incoming senior is a mismatch out wide. His big frame is able to go get the ball off the top shelf over DBs and he has the strength to secure the catch in traffic or rip it away from DBs. He is a kid that can thrive in the redzone with fade routes/jump balls. The ’26 understands how to use his frame to his advantage to make plays for his QB. Don’t overlook the Madison West standout. He would be an intriguing piece for a receiving corps.

Jack was one of our biggest stock risers during the 2026 update following his first season as a varsity starter where he put up 27/363/4. A great base of numbers to build on this fall. Jack has the tools to build on and develop this offseason to continue to climbs recruiting boards. He has a strong 6’3″ 185 lbs frame that eats up yards with long strides when he attacks vertically. Jack also does so well using his size to win the battle for the ball. He can go up and over DBs to high point or use his body positioning to box out, and he always catches the ball with strong hands away from his body. On top of winning with his physical tools, Jack’s concentration to reel in the catches through traffic also shines on tape. The ’26 WR is turning himself into a legitimate outside weapon.
