When you look at Daniels’ tape, a common phrase you’ll say is he consistently all over the field. That was no different against Fairview. Agent 0 had 12 total tackles (7 solo, 5 assisted), 1 TFL, and 2 QB hurries. Daniels has very good athletic ability due to elite acceleration, very good speed, change of direction, and very good strength. Used his athletic ability to prowl the field. Daniels has very good competitive toughness, and this game was another example. He’d keep helping his teammates finish tackles, and continued to play through the whistle. Using his very good mental processing, he watched the quarterback’s eyes and always followed where the ball went. Daniels would identify which gap to rush through, stuffing the run. He was plugging gaps all night long. Carter is a very good run stopper, and an elite tackler. He wraps up the ball carrier and throws/pulls them to the ground. I’ve been impressed with Daniels’ performances week in and week out. He has committed to CSU-Pueblo, and they are getting a fantastic player.

Daniels is a beast, and one of the driving forces behind Mountain Vista’s undefeated season. The 5’11 190-pound senior had 16 total tackles (10 solo, 6 assisted), 3.5 TFL, and 1 QB hurry. Daniels uses his very good athletic ability to be all around the field. He has elite acceleration, very good speed, and change of direction. Daniels is able to rush the QB, or go into coverage. He is a very versatile player. Daniels’ very good mental processing was on display throughout. He consistently watches the QB’s eyes or where the ball is. He sniffs it out. He’ll identify which gap to rush leading to a TFL. Gets lower than the offensive line, makes himself smaller than he is. Very good run stopper and tackler. Eats up the ball carrier, and uses his good hit power to stop them in their tracks. Daniels will be a contributor at the next level, and any college would be lucky to have him.

Daniels was a dominant force in the backfield, amassing five solo tackles, five assisted, and four tackles for loss for the second straight game. Coming back from injury, Daniels is already positioning himself as a potential Defensive Player of the Year candidate with his relentless play. He will be on a lot of radars and will be the focal point on a team poised for a deep playoff run.

. As ferocious as they come, Daniels is by far the anchor of the Vista defense while playing a balanced game in run support and pass coverage. Also only a junior, the 5’11” 190-pound backer is averaging double digit tackles through three games and has generated five tackles for a loss so far. With great instinctual technique, Daniels boasts nimble feet to gain proper tackling angles and rarely misses tackles. To summarize, there’s no doubt you’re going to feel it when running between the tackles and meeting with Daniels head on.

Daniels will be one of the key pieces for the Golden Eagles on the defensive end and he led the team in tackles, nearly tripling the next closest teammate. He is a player that is very active, using his vision to get in the backfield and make plays, coming up with sacks or tackles for loss. He can make an impact in coverage as well, being tied for the team lead in INTs. If he is able to duplicate last season he will be looking at another All-State selection and will be one of the top LB’s in the state.

Daniels might be one of the most explosive LB’s in this class, as he looks like he is shot out of a cannon when he reacts to the run. He has great vision and is quick to read and react to his keys, coming down and making plays at the line of scrimmage or making tackles behind the line. He is great at getting the O-lines hands off and using his speed to get to the QB when his number is called. He is a player that knows his assignments and you can see this by which the speed he plays with, always playing with his foot on the gas. He has the strength to stand ball carriers up in the hole and not give up ground. He will be a player trying to make a case for top LB in the state this season.

A ferocious first-team all conference linebacker hailing from Mountain Vista, the class of 2025 defender unleashed an unthinkable 2022 season by amassing a whopping 177 tackles to go along with a mind-blowing 33.5 tackles for loss. Not only does Daniels pass the eye test statistically, but he also possesses rare speed and athleticism for someone at the linebacker position. To top it all off, Daniels leads by example when he is on the football field as he arguably serves as the heartbeat of the Golden Eagles defense.
