Reese measures in at 6’3 200-pounds and is one of the top QBs in the state. This past season, he went 195/299 for 3314 yards, 65.2% completion rate, 44 TDs, 8 INT, 87 carries for 464 yards with 5 touchdowns. Good athletic ability due to very good acceleration, change of direction, good balance, and speed. Very good throw power paired with a very good release. He launches it downfield accurately with ease. Reese does a great job going through his progressions and finding the open man. If no one’s open, he’ll use his scramble ability to get the first down. Very good pocket presence. He’s mobile in the pocket, consistently keeping his eyes downfield. Very good ball placement skills paired with very good accuracy at all three levels. Very good throw on the run both left and right. I think he’ll throw for over 50 TDs this upcoming season!

Reese wasted no time making a statement, throwing for 410 yards and five touchdowns while adding another score on the ground. Despite tossing two interceptions, his overall command of the offense was impressive, showing poise and creativity in key moments. Reese proved once again why Mountain Vista’s offense is among the most dangerous in the state, keeping defenders off balance with his arm talent and athleticism. His Week 0 performance looked like midseason form, putting him firmly on the radar for major Division I programs. If he continues at this pace, Reese could emerge as a serious Colorado Gatorade Player of the Year candidate.

Reese is picking off where Modrzewski left off. Against Liberty, he threw for 410 yards, 5 TDs, 2 INT, with a 61% completion rate. He also had a TD on the ground. Reese starts with a very quick release giving the ball a tight and past spiral. Very good throw power, and can fit the ball in tight windows between defenders. Reese is a quick decision maker in the RPO game. Good at faking the run in RPO, and throwing it. He’s a smart player, going through his progressions to find the open man. If no one’s open, he will use his very good scramble ability to evade pressure and get the first down. Stays poised under pressure and very good at breaking sacks. Turns would be negative plays into positive ones. He’s an exciting player that I believe will continue to put up big numbers over the course of the season.

Measuring in at 6’2 185 pounds, Reese is the new starting QB for Mountain Vista. Reese demonstrates a very good release with a quick wrist flip. Paired with his very good throw power, it makes Reese an intriguing prospect. He has very good accuracy at all 3 levels and good ball placement skills. He throws the ball above both the WR/DB’s head allowing the WR to make a play on the ball. With his very good deep ball, he leads the wide receiver in stride. It allows the WR time to run underneath it. Reese also has good scramble ability due to good acceleration, speed, and change of direction. Puts his foot in the ground and jukes out defenders. With a strong season, expect more colleges to look his way.

left some big shoes to fill for Mountain Vista, however I believe Reese is up to that task. Reese showed what he can do with limited action in the regular season. He has a quick snappy flick of the wrist release. Very good throw power. He launches the ball up with ease. One thing to note about Reese is his very good deep ball. He throws with good on his deep ball, and has very good accuracy. Good ball placement skills. He throws to the receiver in stride, or up high for contested catches. Reese also has good athletic ability to create yards on the ground. He has good acceleration, and good speed to keep defenders guessing. I’m very excited to see how Reese does next season, and I believe he will do a fantastic job.
