Brown is a receiver who brings more than just athleticism, he’s a technician with a relentless work ethic and high football IQ. His ability to adjust routes mid play, find soft spots in coverage, and lead by example has made him a leader in this wide receiver room. Brown is expected to be a focal point of his team’s passing attack, and he’s put in the offseason work to make sure he’s ready. His progress has been steady, and he’s poised to have the kind of breakout year that gets college coaches dialing in. Watch for Brown to make his mark early and often.

Measuring in at 6’1 175-pounds, Brown accounted for 260 yards on 12 receptions with 4 touchdowns. Brown has very good athletic ability due to very good speed, acceleration, jumping, and good change of direction. Brown has a very good release especially against the press jam. He uses his very quick feet to beat the DB at the LOS creating yards between them. Very good separation quickness due to his mental processing and athletic ability. Brown will either outrun the DB or sit in the open zone void patiently waiting for the completion. Very good ball tracking skills and catching. While he’s going down, he keeps his hands underneath, good ball security. Brown has good body control and adjustments, allowing his body to contort to get the catch. After the catch, he uses his homerun speed to blaze past the defense. Good mental processing extending his arms to get a touchdown. An exciting young player who I expect to have more of a role in Mountain Vista’s offense since their top two wide receivers have graduated.

Brown is an explosive receiver that can get in and out of his breaks quickly. He can get on top of corners, eating up their cushion and making a break, freezing them at times and creating separation. He has soft hands, making his opportunities count. He can make a difference in the return game and will be a receiver that should make a jump this offseason.
