Blais is a running back who defies expectations with his ability to blend power and speed despite not being a physically imposing figure. His compact frame and explosive style make him a nightmare for defenders. Blais excels in making the first defender miss, showcasing the ability to set up his blocks and weave through defenses. His vision is unmatched, allowing him to get lost behind his offensive line before bursting into the open field. Once he turns on the jets, few can match his speed, making him a lethal weapon in foot races. Blais’ ability to handle contact is another standout trait. He runs with a low center of gravity and is difficult to bring down, using his balance and determination to extend plays. As an uncommitted back, Blais is still searching for a college home, but his explosiveness and knack for making big plays should have programs taking notice. With his dynamic skill set, he’s poised to make a significant impact at the next level.

Blais blazed through Fairview’s defense all night. The senior running back had 16 carries for 134 yards and 1 touchdown. Through the air, he had 6 receptions for 68 yards and 2 touchdowns. Blais has elite athletic ability due to elite acceleration, change of direction, and very good speed. Very good strength, looked like a bowling ball out there. Blais was an angry runner out there. He used his very good vision to identify which hole to run through. He’d burst through the hole, using dynamic cuts to make defenders miss. Blais puts his foot into the ground and goes. For example, he juked out a defender, ended up wide open running in for the touchdown. When defenders would start to tackle, he’d use his powerful legs to drive forward. He keeps fighting after contact. Blais was a trusty receiver all night long. He’d go up and make the catch, plucking it out of the air. Blais even got dirty with blocking, creating a hole for the wideout. He’s a fantastic prospect who can compete at the next level, any college would be lucky to have him.

Ending the regular season on a very positive note, Blais had 19 carries for 163 yards with 3 touchdowns. Through the air, he had 5 receptions for 66 yards. Blais has very good athletic ability due to elite acceleration, very good change of direction, speed, and good balance. Blais was on fire out in open space. Making defenders miss and using his home run speed to break free past the 2nd and 3rd level defense. Blais has very good vision, and hits them hard. He makes powerful cuts, and maintains his speed while doing it. Through the air, he used his good ball tracking and catching to be a consistent threat for his quarterback. He will look to continue this big night as Mountain Vista charges into the playoffs undefeated.

Blais had a slower start to the night, however once he got in his groove, the defense couldn’t stop him. The 5’7 155 pound running back had 7 carries for 55 yards and 1 touchdown paired with 2 receptions for 49 yards and 2 touchdowns. Blais has very good athletic ability due to elite acceleration, very good speed, change of direction, and good balance. Blais showed good vision to identify which holes to run through. He hit the holes with ferocity, making the defense pay with each snap. A play that stood out to me was he turned a negative yardage play into a TD. He uses his home run speed to blaze past the defenders into the 2nd level. Blais has powerful legs to drive through the defense. Deserves more eyes on him on this stacked Mountain Vista team.

Blais showed his versatility in the Week 0 opener, proving to be a threat on the ground or out of the backfield. Blais rushed for 82 yards on 6 carries and had 2 rushing TDs. He also hauled in 3 receptions for another 82 yards with 1 more TD through the air, showing his ability to pinch it in from anywhere on the field. His ability to make plays in multiple facets of the game make him a dangerous weapon for his team this season.
