We wrote about Carl Albert linebacker Carlveon Young Carlveon Young 6'4" | LB Carl Albert | 2025 State OK back in the summer after watching him for literally 30 minutes at Carl Albert’s team camp. Young looked like a prospect that was ready to explode this season and after missing almost all of his junior season, he’s made up for the lost time this fall. Young is a prospect that is still very raw but you can already see him turning the corner of becoming that dominant presence at the linebacker position. Young has been a big part of Carl Albert having arguably the best defensive unit in the state, regardless of class this fall. His recruitment has also started to pick up this season and he could get a few more offers before the early signing period in December. Young is definitely a guy who could be a lot higher when we look back on this class in a few years.
