He plays multiple positions for the Patriots, Safety, Linebacker, Wide Receiver, and even some Quarterback. He has stood out every time I watch him play with his pure athletic ability and nose to be where the ball is. He has 50+ tackles, a couple of forced fumbles, and a few interceptions along with over 400 yards receiving with multiple touchdowns. He has played through a rib injury and just continues to do whatever his team needs him to, to have a chance to win. This young man knows how to play the game and does it with heart and determination. Any college looking for lead by example player who is coachable and loves to win, Murtaugh is ready to contribute

After a fantastic junior year, Murtaugh comes into 2022 a physical and emotional leader on the team. He is a sideline-to-sideline player who dishes punishment on both sides of the ball. Murtaugh had one of the first big plays of the game spinning out of a tackle and rumbling toward the sideline where it took two defenders to bring him down, yet he still got up hyped. He is a tone setter and brings a swagger to the defensive backfield. Murtaugh recently got an offer from Air Force and should be a hot commodity for colleges, once contact dates open.
