These players impressed me with their athleticism, hustle, and intellectual ability to play the game we all love. Below I am highlighting what I saw in their film and celebrating the talent that jumped off the screen.
https://twitter.com/Dawson_AmickrnThe best of the offensive line tape I watched, Amick is a fluid-moving offensive lineman who has the strength to stand up any attacker. One of the best parts of Amick’s game is that he doesn’t just wait for the defense to engage him, he engages first which gives him more blocking leverage. Only a sophomore, Amick has excellent technique with a tremendous physical growth potential that will only make him stronger. He also has what I think most want in an offensive lineman, which is a little nastiness! Any program looking for a nimble, strong with solid technique lineman, who can get nasty, may want to jump on Amick early.

https://twitter.com/JettThomallarnI came away from the film study really impressed with Thomalla’s upside. Only a freshman, Thomalla stands at 6’2″ already and has a rocket for a right arm. In his tape I saw a few too many backfoot throws, but they were still got the receivers in a hurry to allow them space to run after the catch. He is decisive in his decisions and has a very quick release. He commands the pocket well, looking confident and unafraid of incoming rushers. With Thomalla’s skillset in Coach Wisdom’s system, along with his development in the weight room and on his mechanics, Nebraska could be looking at their next top QB prospect in Thomalla!

https://twitter.com/JacksonPost07rnA three-sport athlete, Post has all the makings to be a stellar linebacker in the state. He attacks gaps aggressively but is patient enough to wait for the crease. He has the speed to cover sideline to sideline, being explosive when he reads the play. Fundamentally strong tackler with the wrestling strength to fight through blockers. In the open field, he breaks down and chutes for the midsection. Another young talent, his skillset, and strength will only grow which undoubtedly makes him a player to watch in the Metro.

https://twitter.com/kegan_mountainrnI saved my last couple of studs to cover upperclassmen. Mountain has been practically a shutdown corner this year. He is a physical defensive back who blankets defenders with his speed and arm fighting. He does an excellent job keeping his eyes in the offensive backfield to diagnose routes to jump or to help come down for tackles. He has that corner speed but can hit like a safety. Mountain has the tools to help any program at the next level.
https://twitter.com/brockmurtaugh1rnMaybe the best all-around athlete on this list, Murtaugh is just a football player. He plays multiple positions for the Patriots, Safety, Linebacker, Wide Receiver, and even some Quarterback. He has stood out every time I watch him play with his pure athletic ability and nose to be where the ball is. He has 50+ tackles, a couple of forced fumbles, and a few interceptions along with over 400 yards receiving with multiple touchdowns. He has played through a rib injury and just continues to do whatever his team needs him to, to have a chance to win. This young man knows how to play the game and does it with heart and determination. Any college looking for lead by example player who is coachable and loves to win, Murtaugh is ready to contribute
