Karras is a smart route-runner and began to gain some traction on the recruiting trail late in the season. A strong student, he could end up walking on at an FCS program, though I think some Division II schools would benefit from his craftiness against zone and his blossoming athleticism against man coverage.

Karras is one of the top possession receivers in the state and is money on third downs. He operates underneath and can create space in tight areas, making him a quarterback’s best friend. He’s really leaned into that role this season and is on pace for an 80-catch, 800-yard season after playing two of the toughest teams on the schedule. The uncommitted senior isn’t the flashiest receiver in the game, but as college teams struggle to find reliable pass-catchers who can create separation, he sits right there as a top option.

I’m a big fan of Karras’ as he’s one of the more unheralded slot receivers in the state. He stems his routes well and has the short-area quickness to lose defenders in tight spaces. He’s flashed excellent ball skills on deep balls and he’s solid after the catch, but his biggest strength is his route-running from the slot. He’s able to shake defenders in man and find space against zone.
