Dowling has played all three positions for St. Anthony’s through his career showing some positional versatility you don’t often see at the HS level. Dowling has quick feet and does a good job of maintaining blocks in pass pro and in the run game.

Last year Dowling started every single game at center for the Friars and he was very consistent. He did a great job opening up holes for the run game and he was solid in pass protection last year. I’m expecting Dowling to be a leader of this now experienced offensive line and he will be one of the most productive centers in the entire league.

Dowling is solid in pass protection and in the run game but what makes him stand out is his consistency. Dowling is routinely just a really solid performer and is able to win against all types of competition in New York. Dowling is a C/G prospect but could easily be the top Center in this class.
