is a guy who has been one of my favorite players to watch in the state. I am a big believer in what he has to offer on the defensive line, and that has been something he has been showing for quite some time now. He was my offseason MVP in the state of Georgia, and he will be a star at the next level, especially if he can add some more weight to his frame, as he is a bit of a smaller defensive lineman. He is a top DL in the state without a doubt.

The 6’2 275 rising Senior took the DL MVP on Saturday. Cain has outstanding quickness and does a great job with his hands. He is very athletic and uses it to dip around OL. High motor kid with a big football IQ and loves to compete. He had an outstanding Junior season at Dutchtown with 15 TFL with 6 sacks and will be making the move North to Gainesville in 2025.
Outlook
Cain’s stock has continued to climb since we 1st saw him is Soph season. The recent Duke commit is about to see his offer sheet fill up.

A fast-rising defensive lineman out of Gainesville who is currently committed to Duke, Cain is productive, big-play defender who earned MVP honors at this weekend’s Atlanta Under Armour Camp. Now, Cain is seeing more offers come his way, including a big SEC offer from the Auburn Tigers. Ranked as the No. 8 DL prospect in the state according to Prep Redzone, Cain is coming off a giant junior season for Dutchtown where he made 43 tackles and three sacks. Look for him to be even better as a senior in 2025.

Cain had generated some recruiting buzz prior to this event. He was noticeably bigger this time around, and he left as one of the top performers in the DL group. He is still refining his explosiveness and athletic traits, and looks even better from the last time I saw him. Regardless, his pass rushing plan is well developed for his age as he has several different ways to beat and shed blocks. At his peak, Cain should be an athletic defensive lineman with some pass rushing potential at several spots along the line of scrimmage.
