Banks both committed too and signed with the Kentucky Wildcats last month. Banks had previously been committed to the Toledo Rockets, but early on in his senior season he decided to open things back up in his recruitment. At 6’4 180 Banks is a bigger receiver. He understands how to set up his routes and get separation. Banks is a tough matchup as he has the size to muscle up smaller db’s, but he has the speed and athleticism to create separation and out run bigger db’s. Banks tracks and high points the deep ball well. As he gets to Kentucky the main thing for Ardell is just going to be adding weight to his slender frame. Once they can do that, I think he has a chance to find the field.

Ardell put out some big-time film in this his senior season. He has really good straight-line speed but is also a savvy route runner that uses sudden breakd to create separation. Ardell has great length body control that he uses go up and high point and win 50/50 balls. Banks was committed to Toledo, but decommited from the Rockets in September. The big receiver has since picked up Power 5 offers from Kentucky and Cincinnati. Once the season is over and more coaches get a chance to see Banks senior film, I wouldn’t be at all surprised to see Banks pick up more Power 5 offers.
