Jackson is a talented receiver for the storied Massillon Washington football program. Jackson is a tall and long athlete. He’s an explosive player who can get separation in short windows. Gio does a great job going up and getting contested balls. He’s also a player who can make guys miss, and make chunk plays when he gets the ball in space. Jackson has offers from Akron and Kent State.

Jackson is a rangy big-skill athlete. There isn’t a lot of football film there yet, but what there is you see some flashes. He lines up at wide receiver and shows good agility and athleticism for his size. Watching his basketball film, you get a chance to see what kind of explosive athlete he is with the dunks and the quick jump block ability. You also get to see some exceptional body control. With his physical traits and ability to play angles and anticipate I could really see him playing either wide receiver or in the secondary. I’m excited to see what Jackson can put on film this fall and show continued development.

Very tall wideout with good body control down the sideline. Has the height to tower over defenders and win one-on-one battles. Has a couple of MAC offers, under-the-radar for now, but I’d expect his recruiting to pick up by this time next year.
