Making the move from DCA down to Murfreesboro, Jones is headed to a new situation where it should help him flourish and maintain his status as the #1 ranked running back for the #TN2024 class. Well balanced with nice speed and strength, Jones has just about every tool you want in a starting running back and he is just getting started as this guy is a worker that enjoys the process. Once this guy gets going down hill, Jones is hard to stop. He is well built, playing a physical brand of football, so he has no problem lowering the shoulder and running over defenders. Jones also has the ability to break the big one, showing on film nice breakaway speed. This is a well rounded football player that does just about everything right and would be an outstanding addition to anyone’s football team and locker room.

Owning the title for the biggest playmaker from the running back position goes to Sisa as this West Tennessee product could be the fastest back in the state and someone that is honestly sitting under the radar when it comes to recruiting. Ranking as the 2nd best at his position, Sisa is a big threat anytime he touches the ball, being able to find the end zone in a variety of ways. This guy has elite breakaway speed and a quick burst that puts him into open space while also having the shifty feet to work past defenders when they meet him in the backfield. Sporting the size he does, Sisa does a good job at being elusive and staying small, keeping himself away from defenders while maintaining his speed and working downfield. He is also an excellent receiver that is willing to block as well. The Mustangs senior back brings a lot of exciting traits to the field that collegiate coaches should be excited to work with and form into their offense.

Some of the best running back talent in this #TN2024 could reside right here with Dozier as this East Tennessee product is one of fastest, most athletic players at his position and someone with excellent college potential. The Wildcats senior star had to share carries last year as a junior but when he was on the field, Dozier was dynamic and an immediate threat to find the end zone as the ball touched his hands. He has an extra gear about himself that many running backs don’t have and an initial burst that gets him into the open field very quickly. Dozier is also well built, so he isn’t just a blazer but he can be physical as well. Offers have yet to come his way but Dozier is the kind of talent that I foresee exploding on the recruiting scene this summer and eventually competing for that top RB ranking by season’s end.

Bringing nice size, athleticism and speed to the football field, Goins is an interesting talent that sports a lot of physical abilities and traits that work well inside the college game and college coaches have begun to take notice. Coming in as the 4th ranked current RB, Goins has the unique combo of size and athletic abilities that you don’t find often and the great thing is that he is still far from a finished product. Once this East Tennessee runner gets going, he is hard to stop. Goins is a big guy that hits the hole hard then turns on his speed to break away from defenders. He is also quite elusive for his size, showing nice vision and the ability to quickly shift his feet into a new direction. Goins has picked up a couple of offers thus far but I could see him adding many more over the months as more coaches watch his film and see him perform in person.
Consistent, steady and football smart are three key traits that stand out about this Mid-Tennessee running back and several factors in why Clark holds multiple D1 offers at the moment. This is one of the best bigger backs in our #TN2024 class and the Panthers senior standout carries himself well. He understands how to hit the hole quickly and run straight ahead, using his bigger body to run through or around the opposition. Clark also sports deceptive speed, so once he gets going, the Panthers back is tough to bring down. He is more than just a runner as Clark is a good pass catcher and willing pass blocker too. He is the ultimate teammate that does a little bit of everything to help push his team to victory. Added agility and speed could definitely see Clark’s stock rise with not just his PRZTN ranking but his recruitment as well.

Even though Mills ranks inside the Top 100 currently, he is still underrated when it comes to my scouting. While he isn’t the flashiest of running backs, Mills is steady, strong and he knows how to gain positive yards. This is a no nonsense style of runner that lowers his shoulder and continues to push forward, using his lower body strength to break through or carry defenders down field. Mills also sports deceptive speed, so this East Tennessee product can run and break away from his opponent as well as run them over. The Patriots star senior could add more agility and explosion to his tool bag but this is a rock solid running back prospect that could provide a steady hand in your collegiate backfield.

Strong and physically well built, Williams is an athletic runner that has the size and skill set to tote the rock on the collegiate level but is still looking for those opportunities to do so. Ranking 7th among the running backs, Williams is a track guy with outstanding straight line speed, so he can take that ball and find the end zone in a hurry. He can also lower the shoulder and run through contact, providing a nice short yardage back when called upon. Besides being a strong ball carrier, Williams is also a good receiver out of the backfield while sporting the physical size along with the upside to develop as a good pass blocker. The potential is there for Williams to turn into a D1, FCS level running back but he needs to just put it all together and maybe a new scenery at Melrose could be the spark he needs.
Ranking as the 8th best current running back, Robb is a well compact prospect that runs low to the ground and does a good job at keeping himself away from contact while working down field. The Knights senior runner is a bit undersized when it comes to height but he packs a load with the ball in his hands. Robb is a powerful young man that can lower his shoulder and run over you or use his shifty feet to run around defenders. This dude is hard to bring down as you can’t arm tackle him nor can you go after his legs as he sports some tree trunks on that lower half. Robb isn’t the fastest but he is one of the smartest runners we have in the #TN2024 class and he could be a sleeper prospect that turns some heads during the summer camp season.

Many are missing the boat right now with this Mid-Tennessee runner as Lee is as steady as they come and is one of the top productive backs returning for the Fall football season. This guy is built like a fire hydrant, built like a rock and a runner that is hard to bring down with arm tackles. You must fully wrap up this guy if you want to bring him down or he will run through the tackle and continue marching his way down field. Lee shows patience when running along with nice vision and deceptive speed that allows him to get into the open field. He is also a good pass catcher that shows upside in developing as a pass blocker. The offers have yet to arrive for Lee but continued work, especially this summer at camps should boost his recruitment and turn this Mid-Tennessee product into a wanted man.

Taking over the main role late in the season last year, LaDue was given the opportunity to prove his worth during a short game window and he more than impressed, he established himself as one of the best running backs in this class from the East Tennessee region. Sporting nice size, a broad upper body and good speed, LaDue brings a lot of tools to the playing field that translates well to the next level. College coaches have already taken notice of LaDue as he has picked up a few offers thus far with many schools sniffing around and doing their research into this 6 ‘2 runner. LaDue ranks as the 10th best back in the state at the moment but I could easily see him rise up the rankings after a strong summer camp performance in the coming months.

(RB) K.J. Jackson K.J. Jackson 5'10" | 165 lbs | RB Fayetteville | 2024 TN – Fayetteville: Jackson has been a starting back for his Tigers team going on two years now and that’s because this guy can run the ball, bringing an explosive style of running the backfield, sporting the abilities to hit the home run whenever the ball touches his hands.
(RB) Malachi Cromwell Malachi Cromwell 5'8" | 180 lbs | RB Pearl Cohn | 2024 TN – Pearl Cohn: Athletic and fast with quick feet, Cromwell is a bit undersized but plays much bigger while providing a variety of skills to the offensive backfield. This guy is a prime candidate for 4A Mr. Football this year.
