The highest-ranking PJP2 player by a significant margin. A PRZ Top 100 senior. A fantastic wideout who held multiple FCS offers under his belt. Braden Reed Braden Reed 5'10" | 170 lbs | WR Pope John Paul II | 2025 State PA , who recently announced his commitment to Villanova University, starts off his tape showcasing what he’s capable of with the ball in his hands. Unreal change of direction ability, great balance, and body control to cut defenders out of their cleats, Reed blends the awareness and open-field vision of a back with the fantastic hands of a true wideout. Any kick or punt headed his way needs to be fielded correctly or it’s a house call waiting to happen. Has a different gear to his game, a gear that has him accelerating past deep angles taken by defensive backs. The likelihood of you catching up to a full-striding Reed is slim. A starting caliber defensive back, one who transfers his understanding of route concepts from the offensive side of the ball over to safety or corner if the team is in need. A pass-catcher who is unafraid to attack the middle of the field. Reed is often the one to be felt across the middle, as opposed to the defense. A tough-as-nails competitor who has a chip on his shoulder, expect gaudy production out of Braden Reed Braden Reed 5'10" | 170 lbs | WR Pope John Paul II | 2025 State PA this coming Fall, more than he’s put forth in the past. PJP2 will deploy one of the best prospects in PA who has committed to an FCS school, there aren’t too many better options. Villanova got a steal.

Braden Reed Braden Reed 5'10" | 170 lbs | WR Pope John Paul II | 2025 State PA is a WR out of Pope John Paul II that really started to heat up on the recruiting trail in these past few months. Reed picked up his first offer from Limestone on February 18th. From there things only got better for the stud WR. He was later offered by Stony Brook (4/19), RMU (4/22), Maine (5/6), Towson (5/10), Fordham (5/14), Lafayette (6/13), Lehigh (6/20), and Villanova (6/23).
Just a day after receiving his offer from Villanova Braden committed to the Wildcats. I’m extremely happy for Reed and I’m excited to see what he will do at the next level!

Reed has had a very strong last two months when it comes to his recruitment. After picking up offers from Stony Brook and Robert Morris in April, the Pope John Paul II standout added offers from Maine, Towson, and Fordham last month. It’s been an exciting last few months for the top-20 wide receiver and we expect him to continue to rack up offers with a big senior season.

Braden Reed Braden Reed 5'10" | 170 lbs | WR Pope John Paul II | 2025 State PA is a complete stud. He’s listed at 5’10” wide receiver who plays at Pop John Paul II in Pennsylvania. This man was like a human joystick out there all weekend. He was making defenders miss and turning what should have been a 5 yard gain into 40 yard touchdowns. If he wasnt making guys miss and making big time run after catch plays than he was beating defenders deep over the top of defenses. He has a nice stalky frame with exceptional speed. He’s an absolute burner on the field who was often a mismatch whoever is in front of him. Made some unbelievably difficult catches in traffic for scores on deep balls. Has strong hands. He caught everything thrown his way. There wasn’t much he didn’t do for his team when it came to making plays. He currently holds Division 1 offers from schools like Robert Morris University, Stony Brook University and most notably his most recent coming from University of Maine. I predict him to pick up a few more offers before its all said and done.

Pope John Paul has a stud WR in Braden Reed Braden Reed 5'10" | 170 lbs | WR Pope John Paul II | 2025 State PA . The 2025 Wide Receiver put up 1,153 yards with 15 TDs to add to the stat line this past season. This is on a team that had an almost 2,000-yard rusher in Boyd Skarbek Boyd Skarbek 6'0" | 190 lbs | RB Pope John Paul II | 2024 State PA . The 5’10 | 170 lb prospect has had a busy spring with track and recruiting. I want to break down how the spring cycle has gone for Reed. Offers: RMU, Stony Brook Visits: Villanova, New Hampshire, Bryant The talented WR also visited Temple back on 9/24/23. With a good summer of camping, I believe Reed is a prospect that will continue to pick up offers. The kid can go up and get it, but he can also run right by you. When you look past the measurables Reed is a legit Division 1 prospect!

Was special on special teams. Scored a two-point conversion on a ridiculous back-and-forth play that showed off Reed’s athletic ability in the open field, a must-watch play on tape. Reed also torched Judge on a kick return that went back for a score. Against Judge, Reed didn’t need to catch too many balls, yet he still caught a screen for a score in this one. His presence was felt.
Mid-season tape conveys one of the better play-makers and returnmen the junior class has to offer. A threat to score on any punt/kick return, has scored touchdowns from practically all areas of the field, this goes for his reps at WR too. Utilized in misdirection sets, gotcha-plays. Ranks as a top 25 ATH, wideout reps alone would have him place high on our ranks.

4-minute tape showcasing Reed’s inept ability to get open at wideout. Stems with a purpose, attacks leverage with a purpose, you can see how highly I think of the young man, as he is close to cracking the top 100. Can come down with tough catches, is great after the catch, a complete package in terms of an offensive weapon. Bit of an edge/attitude to his game. Saw a big jump in terms of ranking this update.

I’ve seen enough of Braden Reed Braden Reed 5'10" | 170 lbs | WR Pope John Paul II | 2025 State PA this offseason, to the point where I’m excited to rerank him accordingly. The top 150 in the current 2025 rankings reflect D1 potential, Braden Reed Braden Reed 5'10" | 170 lbs | WR Pope John Paul II | 2025 State PA found himself out of that mix by a hair. This coming update will expand the 2025 rankings, nearly doubling the current totals. The top 250 will now reflect D1 potential, Braden Reed Braden Reed 5'10" | 170 lbs | WR Pope John Paul II | 2025 State PA will certainly make that cut this time. 7v7 performances aren’t strictly what changed my mind, seeing him work in person did, however. The way he cuts, his build, his hands, sometimes you need to see it in person. I have, and I’ve become a believer in all things Reed. Excited to get him going again.

, you can imagine how excited scouts are to see the new offense flourish. Reed should be helped. Reed almost eclipsed 1,000 total yards from scrimmage this past Fall. He will have to boost his production substantially. Reed gets an FCS grade out of me currently, nearly a quarter of FCS prospects rank inside the top 100 after their senior campaigns. Reed is certainly capable.
