earned Co-Defensive Player of the Year, and the tape makes it obvious why. If you’re looking for a linebacker who moves like a defensive back, Allen sets the standard.
At 6’3”, 227 pounds, Allen gives Don Bosco unmatched flexibility. He allows the defense to be multiple. He can play in the box. He can rush off the edge. And, just as importantly, he can run with wide receivers in coverage. That versatility alone separates him from most defenders in the country.
Statistically, the impact was clear. Allen helped anchor the No. 1 defense in New Jersey, finishing with 58 tackles, 10 tackles for loss, seven sacks, and a defensive touchdown. However, the numbers only tell part of the story. His presence dictates protection schemes and forces offenses to constantly locate him before the snap.
Moreover, Allen is an effective blitzer with elite closing speed. When he’s sent, he creates immediate havoc. When he’s not, his range and instincts still disrupt timing and spacing. Simply put, if you lose track of him, he makes you pay.
That dominance has translated nationally. Allen recently competed in the Under Armour All-American Game, earned an offer from Georgia, and is set to visit Texas A&M. As his football IQ continues to rise, so does his ceiling.
Ultimately, Allen isn’t just one of the most athletic defenders in the country — he’s one of the most versatile. That combination makes him a true game-changer and one of the hottest defensive prospects in the current recruiting cycle.

once again proved why he’s one of the top defensive players in the country. His instincts stood out from the start — he read plays quickly, attacked downhill, and consistently disrupted St. Joe’s run game.
Allen brought physicality inside, fighting through blocks to finish tackles, while also showing the athleticism to make plays in space. Whenever Don Bosco needed a stop, he was around the football.
It was another complete, high-level performance from a defender who impacts every snap.

has been a force all season, but he’s elevated his game even further in the playoffs. It feels like every momentum-shifting moment on Don Bosco’s defense starts with him. And in their latest matchup against Bergen Catholic, he delivered again.
Allen made impact plays at every level. He recorded a key sack and then sealed the win with a defensive touchdown — a clutch moment that pushed Don Bosco into the Non-Public A championship. His instincts jump off the field, and his athleticism allows him to close space, disrupt plays, and flip games instantly.
Don Bosco’s undefeated run has been fueled by players who rise when it matters most. And Allen has become one of their biggest playoff difference-makers. Now he’ll take that playmaking ability into a title showdown with St. Joe’s Regional.

‘s recruitment is heating up fast. The Don Bosco standout has emerged as one of the most versatile defensive players in the country — a true hybrid who can cover tight ends and receivers, fill the box, and tackle in space. His mix of size, speed, and coverage ability makes him a fit for nearly any defensive scheme.
Allen recently visited South Carolina, where he raved about the Gamecocks’ atmosphere and player support system. Before that, he made a trip to Ole Miss, continuing a busy fall of campus visits. Programs love his athleticism and football IQ, and he’s quickly becoming one of New Jersey’s most sought-after defenders.
As the offseason approaches, expect Allen’s recruitment to shift into overdrive. With his versatility and competitive edge, he’s exactly the type of modern defensive athlete college programs are searching for.

looks as if he could be my uncle. A 6’4″ 215lb freshman shooting the alley for one of the state’s premier parochial programs is a scary thought. A varsity starter, Allen has a tall, lean, and strong frame. With aggression, he asserts himself as a run-stuffer both in the alley and in the box. He has tremendous length that allows him to play over the top of receivers. When walked down near the line of scrimmage, Allen sets a hard edge, gets hands-on offensive tackles, works and fights with every ounce of his being. In the box, he will square you up and attempt a decleating tackle. Serving as a primary returner on special teams, Allen possesses good vision with the ball in his hands. I want to see Allen open up his hips by the time the season starts. Doing so will make him a shot caller, him telling Power 5 schools what position he wants to play at the next level.

One of the best basketball/football player combos I have ever seen on the youth level–regardless of state. Big, strong, fast and can play literally any position on the field at 6-foot-2 and 215 pounds. Originally thought he’d be a tight end, but he’s getting leaner and faster by the day. It should only be a few weeks until Allen picks up scholarship offers. He’s that talented.

is a rare breed that people need to get familiar with very soon. The Garden State Athlete stands 6’2 and weighs around 230 pounds. Mikahi is a dual-sport athlete who dominates on both the basketball court and the football field. With the athletic dominance that I have seen from Mikahi, it is clear that he is going to be one of the most dynamic athletes to come out of the 2027 recruiting class for either football or basketball. Recently announcing he’ll attend New Jersey high school football powerhouse Don Bosco Prep, with his pure power and speed, Mikahi has proven to be a weapon on the field who can produce big plays at a high clip. With the ball in his hands, it seems to be almost impossible to bring him down. When attacking on defense, good luck blocking him. From everything that I have seen in Mikahi, it is clear that he has the makings of a rare talent. I would not be surprised to see him stack some big time offers up when it is all said and done.
