He plays with a calm, confident presence and rarely looks rushed. His footwork is surprisingly clean, allowing him to mirror edge rushers and hold his ground without overcommitting. He’s got strong hands that shoot quickly and a natural ability to re-anchor when challenged. Whether it’s sliding out in pass pro or down-blocking in the run game, Miller brings consistency and effort every snap.

Jalayne Miller Jalayne Miller 6'5" | 325 lbs | OL Desert Edge | 2026 State AZ is just a mountain of a human being, but what makes him special is that he doesn’t move like one. For a guy his size, the way he gets off the line and works into his blocks is just different — he’s light on his feet, quick with his hands, and always seems to be in control. You’ll see edge rushers try to beat him with speed and just get run out of the play, and when guys try to come at him with finesse, he’s got the patience and technique to shut it down. There’s a quiet power to his game — he doesn’t have to throw people around to dominate, though he definitely can. He plays with a strong base, great balance, and the kind of active hands that let him win both early and late in reps. Whether it’s anchoring against a bull rush or driving someone back in the run game, he’s got it covered. And when you watch him long enough, you can just tell — he’s going to be playing on Saturdays, no doubt about it.

Jalayne Miller Jalayne Miller 6'5" | 325 lbs | OL Desert Edge | 2026 State AZ is the total package playing tackle for Desert Edge’s offense. Starting with his quick feet, he doesn’t seem to struggle against the speedy pass rushers because he quickly get’s depth and has the strength to get them so far off track that they’re out of the play. When his opponent is more a tachnician who treis to throw multiple pass rush moves at Miller, his active hands allow him to keep them at arms length and attacks their torso. Bringing it all together with a strong base that gives him incredible great drive in the run game, and you’re left with a player who’s going to be making a real impact on Saturdays in the future.
