He covers ground like a blur — one second he’s at the line of scrimage, the next he’s breaking up a post route that started on the opposite side of the field. It’s the kind of speed that makes quarterbacks hesitate and coordinators think twice. But there’s more to him than just quickness — Davis has legit ball skills that you just don’t see often at this level. He reacts so naturally to the ball and the receiver, making acrobatic plays look routine. Whether he’s baiting a throw or high-pointing a ball, he plays with a confidence and awareness that shows he’s wired for this position. What’s scary is how young he still is, and how much room he has to grow. When you’ve got someone with his kind of instinct, athleticism, and motor on the outside — and doing it alongside someone like Camren Hamiel — you’re talking about a secondary that can straight-up take over games.

Davis has seen that offer list sky rocket throughout the month of January, becoming one of the state’s highest recruited prospects this month, bringing his total offers up to 18, with most recent offers coming from Vanderbilt, Oklahoma, Wisconsin, USC, and Miami. Davis possesses elite closing speed while staying glued to receivers hips, and did a terrific job following motion across the field and keeping leverage. Twitchy, bouncy kid that changes direction in a split second without hesitation- and has the range to patrol the back half as a FS if needed. Excellent eye discipline with great ball skills, as he is rapidly continuing to become a dangerous player.

Possesses natural coverage instincts and anticipation to operate on an island and stay in phase at all three levels of the field. Highly efficient with his footwork and angles to close separation and maintain positional leverage. Plays with good pad level throughout his back pedal, transition, and break. Plus ball skills to locate the ball and play it in the air with good timing and extension. 18 total D1 offers with 15 of them being from P4 programs.
