Said junior tape propelled Abouraya onto ACC boards alike, eventually leading to a late-March commitment to Pitt. An equally impressive wrestler, Abouraya will station at the left tackle position for DTE, paving the way for ball carriers hitting his gap. One of the more consistently dominant tackle tapes you can plug, 16+ minutes of elite run-blocking reps that will show up again this coming Fall. Abouraya and the rest of the offensive line will set the tone on offense.

The ACC and BIG10 are in on this young man, as are we. Abouraya might be the leanest linemen we have spotlighted thus far, yet his frame has to entice Power Five programs strictly based on his potential to be molded to a programs liking. Abouraya will be one of the linemen prospects whose combine numbers might make or break his stock.

We already think highly of the junior tackle out of Downingtown East, ranking him as a top 20 offensive lineman in his class. Dominant run-blocking reps, this young man sets the tone of the game with his punishing reps. Let’s be real, I can find punishing and aggressive run-blocking tackles across the state, what makes Abouraya special is his development and advances in pass-protection sets. I had no idea this kid is as flexible as he’s showing on tape. He’s got the spring in his lower body that lets him absorb power up high. He’s got the feet and punch to deter speed off the edge. I’d love to see him line up across some of the best edge rushers PA has to offer, I think he’d hold up fairly well. Excited for his future.
