Ippolito showed is ability to be a vertical threat with real downfield acceleration. He gave defensive backs problems who tried to press him by winning at the line of scrimmage with free releases. Against off-man, he did a solid job of eating up cushion quickly.

was an excellent player last night at running back. He has outstanding quickness and burst. His ability to make defenders miss in space was evident. Especially when he runs routes, it is hard for defenders to stay in front of him. He is a weapon that you can use in the passing game. He can play as both a slot receiver and a running back. He is the type of player you want to put in space to help get him the ball. He showed he belonged as a good player.
