“The biggest question surrounding  Colin Smith Colin Smith 6'0" | 215 lbs | DL/EDGE Downingtown East | 2028 State PA  is not whether he has college ability, but how much higher the ceiling really goes once there is more quality film available. I already feel confident projecting him to the Division II level, yet there is enough upside to believe an FCS future is well within reach. The next step is putting together a larger sample against quality offensive tackles while showing he can consistently win with technique, counter moves, and leverage instead of relying on one way to get home. Edge defenders who repeatedly affect the quarterback against good competition are the ones who separate themselves during the recruiting process. This is one evaluation I probably should have been more aggressive on, but I want a deeper body of work before fully buying into that higher projection”.
