The event's QB MVP, this decision in conjunction with other coaches present as well as my scouting colleagues. 6'3, 210 pounds, a 2026 QB out of Blue Ridge HS, one who led BR to an 11-0 State Championship-winning season.

Fantastic build, you can immediately notice the work he's put into his body upon his arrival. Profile created at 6'0, 190, Wuhrer has grown three inches and is impressively filled out. Wuhrer didn't test in this one, which doesn't hurt his MVP performance. Individuals were a breeze, I took the time to watch Wuhrer's ability to drive the football during indis and 1v1s. Plenty of hip torque, compact and efficient when loading up to throw deep, not too much wasted motion. Confident as any present, both in manner as well as in decision making. He maintained velocity through the hands of wideouts, there was no real flutter in his throws. Displayed a clear understanding of leverage alignments, understood when to hit kids in stride or when to attempt to throw a pass-catcher open. The entire camp was a breeze for Wuhrer, the soon-to-be-senior was poised and consistent all event.

4.56 40 for a QB his size, a 9'10 broad. I would pretend to be surprised, yet Grant Jr. dominated the testing portion of our 1st PRZ VA event back in January. Grant Jr. dominated all hours of the first event, with Grant following up that performance with an equally impressive showing this past weekend. I did what I could to pay closer attention to Grant's leadership skills in this one, I watched him encourage others, provide energy, and respond positively to coaching critique. There wasn't a ton of critique headed his way, especially in a setting like this one. Grant is ahead of the curve from a work ethic/athletic/technique perspective. Every QB in the world will always have something to work on, no matter the level, yet watching Grant Jr. has me feeling like I'm watching teach tape at times. A consistent and replicable release, one that looked as crisp as it ever has. Good rhythm throwing to all three levels of the field, love watching Grant anticipate and throw accurate balls, this to kids he has zero chemistry with. In all honesty, another MVP-caliber performance put forth by the junior out of Nansemond River.

[player_tooltip player_id='1297938' first='Ryan' last='Carlson'] stuck out beside MVP [player_tooltip player_id='1232713' first='Luke' last='Wuhrer'] in terms of build. As an evaluator, I couldn't help but gush over Carlson before he even threw the football during 1v1s. Carried a relaxed yet dense upper body, shoulders squared up consistently. Base was pure and consistent, good knee-bend and hip torque. Carlson worked on the balls of his feet and was ready to throw on quick-hitting routes for the most part. A legitimate 6'4, 200 pounds. Throws a ball that jumps off his hand, not too much back bend visible when launching balls deep. Great weight distributor, again harping on his base and hip torque. Probably provided the camp with the most "Wow" throws. Witnessed Carlson throw with touch, often dropping balls on outside shoulders 35+ yards downfield. Plenty of zip on slants and hitches, accurate here too. Little bit of a loop in his delivery, yet every QB in the world has some mechs to work on, Carlson's were clean for the most part, again arguably my favorite trait of his (size/mechs).

Another impressive showing from West Springfield's [player_tooltip player_id='1298213' first='Scott' last='Lewis']. Back-to-back PRZ VA Top Performer honors. I think it's safe to say, [player_tooltip player_id='1298213' first='Scott' last='Lewis'] is working with a high floor. I'll explain a bit further here. You can take all QB traits us evaluators like to look for in settings like this one. For the most part, Lewis earns a plus in all areas. Size, height/weight combination, lively arm, accurate both beneath 15 yards as well as beyond, consistent accuracy, balanced base, clean delivery, arm strength range, I can go on and on. Lewis checks off boxes left and right, it's the main reason he continues to be named a top performer at events like this one. What Lewis has to do to potentially win over Division One coaches? Consistently be accurate deep, prove his athleticism, and continue to produce on Friday nights. I'm sold on Lewis, yet this is what I believe other coaches are thinking, particularly at the Division One level. High floor, what's Lewis ceiling? Based on his two showings at our event, I'd happily recruit the young man. We'll see.

A 2028 throwing beside four fantastic 2026s and still looking the part. [player_tooltip player_id='1422269' first='Anthony' last='Jackson'] looked the part, largely because of his anticipation skills and consistent accuracy. Jackson consistently hit comebacks, deep outs, and corner routes without the ball floating or hovering much. Compact and repeatable release, can follow through and put the sword in the sheath. An event like this doesn't necessarily showcase Jackson's lateral agility and quickness, yet he still impressed strictly from a passing perspective. Releases the football high, elbow above shoulder, not bad for a relatively small QB. Respectable performance.

I'll be brief here. [player_tooltip player_id='1593082' first='Andrew' last='Lewis Jr'] wasn't named a Top Performer at QB yet I still came away pleased with several of his throws. Not all were completed, not all were impressive, yet I left the event equally intrigued with his potential away from said event. Awesome size, a build that he carries well. I thought he was a DB or wideout upon watching him work during testing, that is until I saw him uncork a few deep balls.

Lewis Jr. will likely be ranked during our next 2027 VA update, I'm excited to do some further digging on him as a padded prospect. I have a feeling he's better than this event could convey, we'll see.

I'll be brief, but I feel as though I may have snubbed [player_tooltip player_id='1185621' first='Ralphie' last='Puccinelli'] during Top Performer selections. I think he belonged beside the Top Five, if not even higher than Lewis or Jackson if I'm being honest. You see my year-old ranking of Puccinelli, it's obvious how much of a fan I am of the Glen Allen 2027. Looking back at tape I have, as well as some drone footage, I feel confident in saying that Puccinelli was easily a top-performing QB among a group of 20 or so present.

Great size, a lively arm, Puccinelli was second to Carlson in terms of wow/splash plays at this event. A confident passer willing to test any DB present, he and near-MVP [player_tooltip player_id='1311696' first='Desai' last='Ferrell'] linked up on what would be several wow reps during the 1v1 portion of the event.

Flowers to a young man that I'm growing more fond of each and every time I get the opportunity to watch him work up close. This being the third time watching Martin work in a shorts-and-t-shirt type setting. Hard to impress me more than his showing at our Pitt 7v7, yet Martin is deserved of some praise after this most recent combine. Not every pass was completed, there were some chemistry issues between wideouts, some miscommunication, yet I can't fault him for that. What ended up being most impressive were his testing numbers.
