Blue Ridge’s Luke Wuhrer Luke Wuhrer 6'2" | 205 lbs | QB Riverdale Baptist | 2026 State MD is continuing his climb achieving his first Division1 offer just today! The former Annandale product has been on terror this off-season and was the QB MVP at our Spring showcase, you could see he was making the leap before our own eyes.

The event’s QB MVP, this decision in conjunction with other coaches present as well as my scouting colleagues. 6’3, 210 pounds, a 2026 QB out of Blue Ridge HS, one who led BR to an 11-0 State Championship-winning season.

Fantastic build, you can immediately notice the work he’s put into his body upon his arrival. Profile created at 6’0, 190, Wuhrer has grown three inches and is impressively filled out. Wuhrer didn’t test in this one, which doesn’t hurt his MVP performance. Individuals were a breeze, I took the time to watch Wuhrer’s ability to drive the football during indis and 1v1s. Plenty of hip torque, compact and efficient when loading up to throw deep, not too much wasted motion. Confident as any present, both in manner as well as in decision making. He maintained velocity through the hands of wideouts, there was no real flutter in his throws. Displayed a clear understanding of leverage alignments, understood when to hit kids in stride or when to attempt to throw a pass-catcher open. The entire camp was a breeze for Wuhrer, the soon-to-be-senior was poised and consistent all event.

Breaking down Wuhrer’s tape begins back to his Annandale days and I thrilled to see how far he has come. Blue Ridge had standouts in every position group but no more than this potential Power 4 star!

Luke leads Blue Ridge’s offense as the QB. I was able to watch him earlier this season, and he ran their offense efficiently. He has solid arm strength and good accuracy. He has good athleticism which allows him to move in the pocket and extend plays outside of the pocket. He has had a great season and is a big part of Blue Ridge’s success.

Luke put on a great display during the showcase and was easily one of the top QBs on the day. He showed a strong arm throughout the camp even with windy conditions. Was able to throw with zip on short-to-intermediate routes, while also being able to push the ball deep vertically with velocity and touch. On one of his best throws during 1v1s he dropped a nice deep corner route with both touch and power, right into the WRs hands where only he could get it. Luke has nice pocket mobility and escapability. He is able to move in the pocket with good footwork, can snap his hips and shoot the ball while on the run. He is also capable of extending the play and running for big chunks of yardage. Luke is a good built QB, 6’0″ with a strong compact frame. Has the strength to take a hit and keep going. Luke played his junior season at Annandale HS but has since transferred to Blue Ridge and is going to have a big senior season.
