Seaton: Physical Runner Looking to Break Out at Riverdale Baptist
Seaton runs with a punishing, aggressive style, initiating contact and powering through defenders with authority. But he’s far from one-dimensional; he also has the footwork and shiftiness to find narrow cutback lanes and make defenders miss in the open field.
After posting back-to-back standout seasons at Blake High School, Seaton is set to make a major impact following his transfer to Riverdale Baptist. With a challenging schedule on tap, the stage is set for him to prove why he’s considered one of the top athletes in the state.
Look for Seaton to rise to the occasion and solidify himself as a breakout player in the 2025 season.

Riverdale Baptist | 2026

is a running back who brings vision, toughness, and balance to the field. Seaton is hard to bring down on first contact. He’s usually thinking one or two moves ahead, which enables him to make quick decisions on whether to cut upfield or bounce the run outside. Seaton’s ability to read blocks and react is one of his strongest traits. He’s not the biggest back, but Seaton is a physical runner who consistently breaks through arm tackles and finishes with authority in his highlights. On several plays, he lowered his shoulder and powered through defenders. Seaton’s got a little wiggle to his game, too. He’s not flashy but elusive enough to avoid tacklers in space and pick up the extra yards. Seaton has a smooth-running style. He’ll improve his stock as he improves his top-end speed. When it comes down to it, he is a dependable downhill runner with solid vision and physicality.

Seaton has been on my radar since his JV years, his talent has been clear, and his physical size is now aligning with the varsity level of the game. Seaton went from 170lbs to 190lbs and the difference shows, making him an even more dangerous weapon for Blake. Seaton has maintained his speed and elusiveness but added a new physicality to his game making him a well-rounded back that can run past, around, or through defenders. I’m looking forward to seeing what Seaton has in store for the 2024 season. So far, he has offers from Morgan State, Tennessee, and Maryland, watch for a positive leap in his recruiting stock by the end of the season.

Seaton has lived up to the hype this season. He is one of the best players in the county. He is Blake’s most explosive player. He has speed, and strength, and runs hard. He is so tough to bring down. Seaton will have to make plays on offense and special teams if Blake wants to overcome Blair.

Seaton was one of the county’s top JV players a season ago. He is now on varsity. He is still a very good back that can make an impact. He can carry defenders and does a great job of getting yards after contact. He will have a bigger role as the season progresses.
