About Andrew

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Dynamic and versatile. I play fast, physical, and instinctive with a high football IQ. I can line up anywhere, process quickly, and make plays in space or under pressure. I focus on being reliable, explosive when needed, and a leader who elevates everyone around me.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Focused, disciplined, and team-first. I stay even keeled under pressure, hold myself accountable, and bring consistent energy every day. I’m competitive, detail-oriented, and coachable, always looking to learn, lead, and push the standard for myself and my teammates.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I’ve developed strong leadership and communication skills by taking on responsibility and holding myself and my teammates to a high standard. I lead by example with my work ethic, consistency, and preparation, while also making sure, I’m vocal and supportive when the team needs it.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

One significant challenge I’ve faced was learning how to stay focused and consistent during a time of transition and uncertainty. When I moved back to Virginia and I had to adjust to a new school, new teachers and a whole new environment, as well new systems and expectations, it tested my ability to stay grounded and lead despite the circumstances.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a college that provides the right balance of strong academics, a competitive football program, and a culture built on accountability and development. I want to be in an environment where coaches are invested in player growth, both on and off the field, and where I can continue to develop my versatility and compete at a high level.

My guy Andrew Lewis can play multiple positions and he stood out at our North Carolina combine last week. Lewis can play quarterback or tight end at the next level in my opinion, I will be curious to see which position group he runs with tomorrow. He has impressed me on tape and in person before, I expect him to do the same Saturday.

Recently debuting in our 2027 rankings class, Roanoke Catholic’s Andrew Lewis Jr Andrew Lewis Jr Andrew Lewis Jr 6'4" | 195 lbs | QB/ATH Roanoke Catholic | 2027 State VA may not have been ranked high enough. He just picked up his first opportunity to play at the next level.

Virginia Union offered the 6’4 190 lb. gunslinger, Lewis has a case for a rankings boost in our August 2027 edition. He looks like he can make every throw.

Andrew has some good size on him, and going into his junior year, he has a chance to really break out as a college prospect. I liked his technique and fundamentals – it looks like he has been coached well from that standpoint. Andrew showed some good arm strength to fit the ball in some tight spaces during the 1 on 1 period of the showcase as well. A 3.6 GPA and playing baseball are two traits that always translate to the quarterback position, also!

I’ll be brief here. Andrew Lewis Jr Andrew Lewis Jr Andrew Lewis Jr 6'4" | 195 lbs | QB/ATH Roanoke Catholic | 2027 State VA wasn’t named a Top Performer at QB yet I still came away pleased with several of his throws. Not all were completed, not all were impressive, yet I left the event equally intrigued with his potential away from said event. Awesome size, a build that he carries well. I thought he was a DB or wideout upon watching him work during testing, that is until I saw him uncork a few deep balls.

Lewis Jr. will likely be ranked during our next 2027 VA update, I’m excited to do some further digging on him as a padded prospect. I have a feeling he’s better than this event could convey, we’ll see.
