Jackson is one that right now sits as our QB7 in the 2029 rankings, but the Millard South quarterback to me could be up a handful of QB spots by next update. Even though the varsity tape has been pretty light this year behind 2027 QB1

, the skillsets I want to see have grown from his freshmen tape a year ago mechanically. Jackson offers a very quick release that you can tell has well-versed pocket presence that is only going to keep growing with a couple more years of varsity football under his belt. He has the three-level efficency that showed off as a freshmen coming over from Omaha Westide that displays the growing well-rounded touch that he has on his deep throws which also shows off sound precision. He’s one that could also move the needle quickly here during camp season this summer.

joins the reigning repeat champions, Millard South, after a great season leading Westside’s frosh squad. Jackson was highly efficient as a passer last season with 1,272 passing yards, 22 touchdowns, and a 138.5 QBR on 67% completion rate. Although we may not see much of Jackson on the varsity stage this year (MS has

– but they’re also really good, so he’ll probably play second halves anyway), I wouldn’t be surprised if he impresses some coaching staffs at college camps and plants strong roots for his recruitment going forward. Jackson already has a skill set that is a bit more polished than that of many kids his age, and he really shines between the ears. He sees the field well and makes smart reads while maintaining good footwork in the pocket. Pilege has the arm to throw all three levels of the field and the accuracy to keep his receivers in stride.
