About Landon

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

In a dual sport athlete who plays football and basketball. I great Tight End with good blocking skills and great catching ability. I also play Defense End with good tackling skills and can read the field. I have a very high IQ for sports and learn quickly. I’m a team player and very coachable. While I have good game time functional speed, I can read defenses and find the gaps to get open.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Very friendly, upbeat team player with energy and always looking to learn more about the game.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Active community volunteer when possible.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I played freshman and half my sophomore season with Peachtree Ridge HS before transferring to Gainesville HS. Prior to transferring, I was recovering from an injury and played junior varsity to keep active and build upon my skills.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for Division 1 FBS or FCS college programs.

A 2026 tight end on the rise in Gainesville who showed last year that he can make an impact both as a pass-catcher and as a physical blocker in the run game, Williamson brings an excellent frame at 6-foot-3 230-pounds and the ability to bury defenders into the ground. He blocks well in space, plays with good leverage, and was a big part of the Gainesville offense last season. Ranked as the No. 7 TE prospect in Georgia for the 2026 class, Williamson caught just 13 passes last season for 130 yards and two touchdowns, but as a senior next fall, look for Williamson to possibly see more passes come his way in his final season.
