2027 LB Kane Williams Kane Williams 5'10" | 180 lbs | LB Morgantown | 2027 State WV transferred into the Morgantown program this year from Maryland and made an immediate impact in their linebacker corp. He has size limitations, but plays the middle linebacker position with a throwback, old-school mentality. Williams is a downhill, physical player who seeks out the football with high effort and quick pursuit that should have colleges overlooking his physical limitations.

A new name to West Virginia this season, who you’ll want to know is 2027 Morgantown LB Kane Williams Kane Williams 5'10" | 180 lbs | LB Morgantown | 2027 State WV . He transferred in from Pennsylvania for his junior year and immediately started at inside linebacker for the Mohigans. Williams showed good play recognition against Parkersburg and attacked the ball with high effort. He’s going to be a valuable addition to the program and a standout on defense for the next two seasons.

Williams was all over the field for Allegany finishing the season with 60+ tackles. Kane played some safety, outside and middle linebacker at just 5’10 175lbs. Thats good size for it to only had been his freshman year, but rare seeing that be able to play middle linebacker at the varsity level. He flies to the ball and is a hard hitter. He’s quick shooting gaps and closes on the ball fast, while still being able to hold his own in between the tackles. I’m looking forward to seeing how Allegany uses this versatile athlete on the defensive backfield.
