Makai Simpson Makai Simpson 6'1" | 190 lbs | ATH Opelika | 2025 State AL is a big, athletic two-way player with FBS offers under his belt. There is plenty of intrigue around him as an RB, where he is a pass-catching threat out of the backfield and has the size needed to finish runs on his feet. He plays DB the way you would imagine an RB does, flying downhill from the S spot and making firm contact on ball carriers. He is experienced as a pass catcher, has enough change of direction to take the yards available, and is tough to tackle. For those reasons, his upside as an RB prospect intrigues me. However, he can be a striker at S and help defend the run game. Regardless of where he settles positionally, he is a size-speed threat with FBS upside.
