About Winston

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Always learning and improving every practice, every play, every film session. I want to win and do everything I can for my team to get us there. I'm able to make adjustments to speed, footwork and positioning during a game as plays develop.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I'm a fierce competitor and take both my sport and my academics very seriously. I can have a good time, but when it's time to work I'm all in.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I really just have time for family, church, and football right now. I've joined some clubs at school but haven't participated yet.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Hard work has been a part of my life growing up on a farm. As a top player on my football teams I have developed leadership skills that will help me at the next level.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I've had to fight for and earn playing time, positions, etc. It's something I'm used to but I am confident in my abilities and am willing to put the necessary work in to achieve my goals.

What type of college are you looking for?

I have goals to play and contribute to a team. I would prefer to stay in one place for 4-5 years, but am open to all possibilities that will best amplify my skills.

Winston Ford Winston Ford Winston Ford 5'11" | 180 lbs | ATH/DB Pulaski County | 2028 State KY caught my attention at one of our camps this offseason and was equally impressive when watching his freshman year film. He is a downhill runner who uses his speed to burst through the running lane with a sense of urgency then run away from the defense on long runs. Ford has also shown the elusiveness to make defenders miss in the open field. Winston finished this past season with 39 carries for 254 yards and two touchdowns in 12 games. He also caught five passes for 71 yards as a freshman. Ford doesn’t currently hold any offers but he should be a player to keep an eye on as his role continues to grow in the Pulaski County offense.

He finished the season with 39 carries for 254 yards and two touchdowns in 12 games. Ford has impressive speed which he uses to burst through the running lane and break away for long runs. He also has impressive vision in the open field, showing the ability to find cutback lanes and make moves to make defenders miss. Ford also caught five passes for 71 yards this past season. Winston should be a player to keep a close eye on as his role in the Pulaski County offense continues to grow.

Ford was very impressive during position drills, showing very smooth change of direction ability and impressive footwork when making cuts. He also stood out during the open field competition, showing the elusiveness to make opposing linebackers miss with ease. Ford will be an intriguing prospect to keep an eye on as he continues to develop over the next couple seasons.

Ford caught my attention with his excellent footwork and speed. I also liked how Ford could read the offense, spot the quick handoff and make powerful stops in crucial moments.

Claiming the number three spot on my list is Winston Ford Winston Ford Winston Ford 5'11" | 180 lbs | ATH/DB Pulaski County | 2028 State KY , a running back at Northern Pulaski High School. On top of excellent footwork, what impressed me about Ford was his shiftiness on the ground as well as his ability to be durable during positional drills. Another aspect of Ford that stood out was his quick execution and ability to overwhelm his opponent with electric quickness.

What I liked about Ford’s playstyle was his overall explosiveness on the ground, showcasing his electric speed and strong footwork in the pocket. I also liked Ford’s effort during positional drills, proving he could consistently maneuver the field and use space to his advantage
