Week 3 Scouting Report: Brother Rice

In that game, we got the opportunity to check out a whole lot of talent that either are or will be hot commodities on the recruiting trail. Making the right reads, getting it done with his legs and making the big throws when necessary. He wasn't forcing it or being too timid. Just complete maturity. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Super impressive day from Martin, who is already earning a bump in stock and will likely continue to rise our 2029 board! This dude is smooth, athletic and has incredibly sticky hands. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>I underestimated his size a bit. He looked extremely well built, and the DLS secondary had a hard time competing with Tyler's physicality. I absolutely love the way he read his keys and rallied to the football. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Hill did a great job of not getting fooled by the play action or other eye candy they threw his way. He was able to stay home and fill gaps with power and speed. He has absolutely come a long way with his football IQ and the game is coming more natural to him. Nothing came easy when they threw his way. I absolutely love his ability to change direction, accelerate to close any separation and use his long arms to pester the receiver trying to make the catch. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>On top of that, he had to fight through some adversity and was able to pull the best out of himself and be the impact player his teammates expect him to be. He possesses broad shoulders and is well built to be a physical run stopper, and he does just that. He possesses advanced vision and feel for his age, and understands how to exploit the smallest creases. Cameron flashed outstanding contact balance, and very rarely went down 1 on 1.
