Friday night at Oxford high school featured multiple high level prospect across all classes. Oxford came away with a big win and multiple players showed up big for their teams. Let's take a look at some of these prospects and what made them special.

Michael had an absolute phenomenal game for the wildcats and he did it in a variety of ways. The first thing that stood out to me was Michaels ability to run the offense with a calmness and and a clear grasp of the offense. Michael showed an excellent arm and made multiple throws that left people buzzing. Michael had a big 3rd down throw that he layered over a hand of a linebacker and dropped it beautifully into his waiting receivers hands for a big first down. He also made anticipation throws and showed a big arm with a beautiful deep pass for 6. Michael also made multiple on the run throws in which he led the wide out perfectly. Michael has risen his stock with an excellent start for the 3-0 wildcats. I am excited to see him continue to grow and feel he has an extremely high ceiling and his wildcats teammates are in good hands for the next few years.

Liam Is a kid I have been high on for quite some time now and he did nothing to change my mind following his performance on Friday. The wildcats left tackle did an excellent job protecting his QB's blind side all night long. He showed excellent depth on his kick and really good punch in pass pro. But what really stood out was his ability to drive players off the line of scrimmage all night in the run game. When the wildcats needed tough yards they went behind Liam and he delivered all night. This feature Chippewa was impressive and he showed he has a high ceiling moving forward.

Anderson had a solid night last night for the dragons. Anderson showed he can make all the throws and delivered some beautiful passes from a variety of arm angles. Anderson made a few anticipation throws that were delivered on the money to the wideouts that led to big chunk yard plays. On one touchdown pass Anderson drilled a throw to his wide out that was coming out of his break and put it on the money for 6. Anderson also did a good job of tucking the ball and picking up tough yards when a play broke down. The feature Grand Valley laker was highly impressive all night and will continue to put up big numbers in a very friendly QB offense.

Preston was one of the most impressive players that I watched last night. Preston runs the ball hard and broke tackles all night last night for the wildcats. On multiple plays Preston was able to shake off a defender at the line of scrimmage and dash into the secondary for big plays. Preston showed really good feet and has an excellent jump cut that he used to elude defenders and pick up yards on the ground. Another part of Prestons game that I really liked was how decisive he was with the ball in his hands. He showed good vision and made quick cuts then exploded up field and forced defenders to take him on. Preston was very good all night and spear heads an excellent crop of running backs for Oxford.

Juju was another player who popped all night under the lights. The first thing that stood out to me was Juelz was excellent straight line speed. Juju gets up to top gear very quickly and showed it all night in the pass game. I was also impressed with Juju's attention to detail in his route running. He showed very good cutting ability and sunk his hips to get out of his breaks very quickly. Another thing that stood out to me is his ability to snatch the ball out of mid air and get up field quickly after the catch. Juju was impressive even in the loss and he and Adams are a very dangerous connection.

Brady was a kid that looks the part when you stand on the field next to him. When the game got rolling Brady was showing up all over the field as a dangerous free roaming safety. Brady did a very nice job coming up and offering run support for his front 7 but also did a very nice job in pass coverage all night. Brady showed really good closing speed and at 6'3" he delivers a punch on contact. Brady was very impressive on the back end for Oxford and did a good job neutralizing a potent Lake Orion passing attack. Keep an eye on Brady as I feel he is a little under valued on the recruiting trail.
