The Central Michigan commitment showed all the things you would want to see in a division one quarterback. Sam displays good balance in the pocket and excellent awareness. Sam layered throws to a bevy of wideouts and running backs spreading the ball around all night. Sam has a smooth release and the ball explodes out of his hands. It was also impressive how accurate sam was with ball placement putting the ball where only his pass catchers could make a play on it. Grayson's connection with fellow wideouts [player_tooltip player_id='483197' first='Lundon' last='Hampton'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1538594' first='Will' last='Fussman'] was on full display. I was pleased with Graysons arm strength as he made multiple deep ball throws. Grayson also does a nice job making anticipation throws as he layered balls into tight windows on several occasions. Grayson showed there is not a spot on the field he can't drop a ball in. The future Michigan Wolverine lined up all over the field and showed he was dangerous with the ball in his hand's. He routinely pulled away from defenders when making a catch and showed sharp cutting ability which will translate well at running back in the fall. I was also impressed with Lundon when he lined up at corner. Though he did not play a lot of defense on Friday he was asked to take on double duty in the championship game. He locked down wideouts on several plays. Lundon may be one of the most dynamic athletes in the 2027 class. The young Godwin Heights gun slinger showed plus sized arm strength making throws in tight windows. In the final against Comstock park Martellis ripped a missile on a rope to a streaking wideout that lead multiple spectators speechless. I am excited to see this 2028 quarterback grow and would not be surprised to see his stock continue to rise into the fall season. This powerful running showed excellent jump cut ability and an explosive first step. I was impressed with Jeremiah's pass catching ability. The 5'9" running made multiple plays out of the back field including a streaking 40 yard touchdown as he beat the linebacker on an out and up route. The versatility that Jeremiah showed on Friday should have his coaches ecstatic for all the ways they can use him under the lights on Fridays in the fall.
