Grosse Pointe South was one of the more interesting teams to follow last season. Sam and his team took out some top contenders throughout the season and had some impressive performances. Sam performed well in those big games, which makes me believe he could be a breakout star in 2026. He did some of his best work under pressure and having to scramble. He breaks contain easily, gets out and keeps his eyes downfield and delivers some huge throws. He’s accurate and is able to thread the ball through some tight windows, and layer the ball between the defense. He passes the eye test at 6’3, and his physical tools pair well. GPS will be a problem once again this fall, thanks to Sam and his talent.
